ZoodleBoard and the Send to ZoodleBoard Chrome extension

Send to ZoodleBoard (Chrome extension)
Send to ZoodleBoard lets a teacher draw a box around something on a web page and put a picture of it on their own ZoodleBoard.
- What it collects: only the picture of the area the teacher boxes, and only when the teacher clicks the extension's button or presses its keyboard shortcut. It does not read, record or send anything else about the pages a teacher visits, and it does not track browsing.
- Where it goes: the picture is passed from the teacher's browser tab to their open ZoodleBoard tab, which saves it on the teacher's own board. It is not sent to anyone else.
- What it stores: if ZoodleBoard is not open yet, the picture is held in the browser for a moment until ZoodleBoard opens, then removed. Nothing else is stored.
- The extension does not use the data for advertising, does not sell or share it, and does not use it for any purpose other than putting the picture on the teacher's board.
ZoodleBoard (zoodleboard.com)
- Teachers: we keep your email address and sign-in details (through Google's Firebase), the name, school, role and note you give when asking to be verified, and the boards you make, including drawings, pictures and pages.
- Students: students do not make accounts. They join with a board code and type a first name, which is shown to their teacher. A student's session is removed automatically after two hours without activity.
- Board content is only shown to the teacher who owns the board and the students that teacher admits.
- We do not sell information, show advertising, or share information with anyone except the services that run ZoodleBoard (Google Firebase hosting and database).
- A teacher can delete any board at any time. To have an account and everything in it removed, contact us.
